After assessing your site, we’ll create a custom lighting design tailored to your space and budget.
You’ll receive a clear, itemized estimate that includes everything (lights, accessories, labour, and maintenance), so there are no surprises. With transparent pricing and expert planning, you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Once your design and estimate are approved, we’ll coordinate an installation date that works best for your timeline. Because our work is entirely exterior, there’s no need to disrupt your operations or be on-site, we’ll handle everything efficiently and safely. Our team will communicate clearly before arrival and ensure everything is set up on schedule.

Our trained installation crew manages every detail, from securing lights on rooftops and commercial trees to specialty installations unique to your site. We use commercial-grade lighting and weather-resistant hardware to ensure your display not only looks great but stays secure and functional throughout the season.

If any issues arise with your display, whether it's a single bulb out or weather-related damage, we’re just a call away. Our team offers prompt support and service up until December 23, keeping your property looking polished and professional all season long.

Post-holiday, we return in January or February to safely remove all lighting and equipment. Our crew works with care and precision to avoid any damage to your property, leaving the site clean and ready for the new season. No hassle, no leftover mess.

Residential Christmas Lights Take-Down Services
Fast & Reliable Christmas Light Removal Services
When the holiday season comes to an end, taking down Christmas lights can feel like a hassle. Let Grey Rock Group handle it for you! Our professional Christmas light removal services are available to Calgary and surrounding communities and ensure your decorations are safely taken down, neatly packed, and ready for next year.
When Should You Book Your Light Take Down
We start our Christmas light removal service in early January and continue through to the end of February. Need your lights taken down later in the year? We offer light removal services throughout the year, subject to demand and crew availability and an off-season surcharge.
Pricing for Christmas Light Take Down Services
The removal cost for Christmas lights is 40% of the installation price, with a minimum charge of $90 plus GST.
Take-down charges may be higher for lights not installed by Grey Rock or for trees where the lights have been in place for multiple years.
Take-downs scheduled outside of January and February will incur a $30 out-of-season surcharge and will be completed intermittently based on demand and availability.

Please note, not all lights are created equal—using lower-quality lights may impact the longevity and performance of your display. If you're unsure which lights to use, our customer service team is ready to point you in the right direction and ensure you make the best choice for a stunning and reliable setup.

We start booking installations as early as October to ensure your lights are ready for the holiday season. The earlier you book, the better your chances of securing your preferred installation date and the longer you get to enjoy the lights!

No, you do not need to be onsite during the installation. Simply leave any lights or accessories outside, and our customer service team will communicate all necessary instructions to the crew. We’ll ensure the installation is completed smoothly and to your specifications with minimal disruptions.

If any issues arise with your Christmas lights during the holiday season, simply contact our customer service team and we will promptly address any problems to ensure your display stays bright and beautiful.

Yes! After the holiday season is over, we provide takedown services to carefully remove your lights and decorations and pack them neatly away for next year. Check it out here.
